Department of Philosophys Student Club gearing up for 2014 Symposium

The Department of Philosophy‘s Student Club will be hosting its 2014 Symposium on Saturday, April 5 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Pond Inlet. There will be a series of essay readings/question and answer sessions with some of the most exciting young minds at Brock University.Topics will include:– The philosophy of graphic novels;– Theatre semiotics;– Epistemology of Antropomorphism;– Epistemology of Einstein;– A chance to be a hero: video games and moral development;– Street fighter and zen;– The ethics of MMORPG’s.This event is free and all are welcome to attend.For more information contact Wesley Dutton, Department of Philosophy Student Club president. read more
